Three Diocesan Boards

The diocese operates through three main boards, each overseeing specific ministry areas and coordinating their respective committees

Board of Administration & Finance

Chair: The Bishop (or DAS as Vice Chair)

Oversees diocesan administration, finance, human resources, and property management

Key Functions:

Prepare and monitor diocesan budgets
Manage diocesan properties and facilities
Oversee staff recruitment and welfare
Coordinate partnerships and resource mobilization
Ensure financial accountability and auditing

Board of Mission & Discipleship

Oversee diocesan schools and educational programmes
Coordinate community-based rehabilitation (CBR)
Manage health initiatives and clinics
Promote social justice and peace building
Implement society transformation programmes

Board & Committee Membership Criteria

Requirements for serving on diocesan boards and committees

Be a confirmed communicant member of the Anglican Church

Be of good standing and regular in attendance at worship

Have demonstrated commitment to the mission of the Church

Possess relevant skills and experience for the board/committee

Be willing to serve without remuneration

Be nominated through proper channels (parish, archdeaconry, or synod)

Commit to attending meetings regularly and participating actively
